Twenty years ago, we introduced Levi’s® Engineered Jeans™, an innovative approach to denim that used twisted side seams and a darted yoke to create a more ergonomic fit. The idea was that by taking a forward-thinking approach to design, we could maximize both comfort and freedom of movement.
When we launched the line in 1999, they were a huge hit — not only for the way they fit, but also for their progressive style — and they’ve been something of a legend ever since. To commemorate the 20th anniversary of these celebrated jeans, we brought them back for a special edition reissue with a modern twist.
Inspired by the ‘99 original, this 20-year anniversary line is a homage to continuous innovation and next-level personal style.

You’ll know them when you see them because of their red two-horse back patch. Plus, we printed the inner pockets with the Levi’s® Engineered Jeans™ logo and included a Levi’s® Engineered Jeans™ printed hanger loop. It’s everything that made the ‘99 version such a success, but updated for today.
